In this episode, we look into the correlation between Abraham's servant searching for Isaac's bride with the Holy Spirit searching and bringing the Bride to Christ. Scripture read in the episode comes from Genesis 22 and 24, Romans 8, and Ephesians 1.
Abraham, the servant, Isaac, and Rebekah are representative of God the Father, Gor the Holy Spirit, God the Son, and the Church, respectively. The servant was sent by Abraham to deliver the good news of a marriage to a hopeful bride who heard, believed, and was sealed with a dowry and rings. The same can be said for us as Christians who heard the Gospel of Jesus Christ, who believed in the truth of that Gospel, and have been sealed by the Holy Spirit as the dowry and promise of Christ's imminent return to claim His Bride (Church).
